Η Αξιώτισσα έκλεισε και για φέτος. Μια χρονιά δύσκολη αλλά και με πολύ όμορφες στιγμές, με ζεστασιά αλλά και πίκρες, όπως είναι η κανονική ζωή.
Πριν λίγες μέρες λάβαμε αυτό το ζεστό και φωτεινό μήνυμα από την Briana από το Κολοράντο που μας συγκίνησε τόσο που θα θέλαμε να το μοιραστούμε μαζί σας και που μας αναθέρμανε τους λόγους που αγαπάμε αυτό που κάνουμε.

Both times, our meals were so delicious and the overall experience was exactly what we crave on vacation: authentic! Our first time, I ordered the beet salad. We were there when the sun was setting and just as they put the salad down, the sunlight hit our table at an angle and I just wanted time to pause. I took many pictures (one attached) and let the moment soak in before eating the perfect beet salad. I was thrilled to see that you had written a cookbook! Both me and my mother in law purchased the book, and I have already made the beet salad and the Axiotissa eggplant! Both were good but not nearly as good as yours. It is a good reminder that moments can only be experienced once.
I was able to find a European market that carries some of the cheeses you call for in your recipes.
I want to sincerely thank you for creating a special place. It was truly a highlight of our trip. I have worked in restaurants but that is nothing compared to owning one and being the head chef. Thank you for the heart you have put into Axiotissa. I will never forget our experience there.
I also attached a picture of our daughter on our second visit. She met a couple other kids from other tables. None of them spoke the same language but they had a blast eating watermelon together and petting cats. I LOVED the way the sunlight filtered into your patio. So beautiful.
